Brief History

Sing of smart finds, sing of clear poise;
Indulge that feel, indulge that thought;
Niche steady mind, niche clever choice;
Grace ever heals, grace designs lot;
Apply bold wit, apply firm face;
Peace of mind brings, peace of heart glows;
Opt for kind fit, opt for firm trace;
Risk a sure fling, risk a grand show;
Expose your fate, expose your time.
Feed a good score, feed a grand mood;
Invoke fine date, invoke bold rhyme;
Feed laughter more, feed senses good;
Taut posture tells, taut language bares;
Yes augurs well, yes describes fare.

If you take a closer look you will notice an Acrostic message in the first letter reading down each line. This poem is to celebrate Singapore's 50th birthday next year.
