Bridges

and with him I dream
of water
and all that is crystal

he teaches me to
trust the bridges
the little fractures
carved in

with him
we waste time looking
for sand rubies
and trash castles
that seem sturdy

he teaches me how to
kiss my wishes away
and shows me the forever
blank canvas of
perfection
