Bridged Waters

Cool..crisp free flowing waters set the rhythm
beneath your weather beaten bridge.
Bridge..pathway of memories bear witness
of seasons come and gone.
The pitty pat of children headed for their first dip
to christen in Spring.
Perhaps the artists footsteps capturing their most
idealistic images of fallen Winter.
Bear witness-father - son skipping stones before
a cool dip- in the midst of Summer.
Ole' weather beaten bridge remember the one that
collected their thoughts in the Fall winds.
Cool crisp free flowing waters pat your feet upon
the rocks-
As Ole' man bridge applauds its visitors who have
come and gone.
