Bridge

The oscillating shadows lay
the murky sky is tarnished
The bridge we built starts to fade.
The luster is lost
As this face leans toward the dark.
I am restless among the night
Sleepless as the whipping willows under thee.
Far in the hazy distance
As the clock strikes midnight
I gaze upon that wavering sky
For the old me lingers on the other side.
Haunting me in sleepless nights.
