Brenda Chapter Two
Brenda sat at her computer staring into space,
Thinking about the book she was writing,
Imagining herself having spent the night on the boat,
With her dreamy fictional character,
She started to wish herself back into the pages again,
She wanted more! She wanted him!
Life had just become so very boring,
She decided to type herself into another situation,
The phone rang! “Hello! “Yes she said”
The car pulled up!
She got into his convertible! He drove,
“Where are we going”
“I have a place in the mountains,
Just thought we could drive” She typed!
The drive was long, the time was late,
He built a big log fire to keep them warm,
They ate strawberries drank champagne,
She melted into his body,
They laughed they enjoyed,
They savoured every moment,
Falling asleep in his arms,
He was her perfect man,
She wished he had been real,
Chapter two came to a close.
