Breath of Spring
The sweetest breath of Jasmine lifts my eyes
To small white petaled flowers on her vine
Beholding precious, purple butterflies
Like angel ballerinas so divine
A melody ensues as old as earth
Creation sings her storied songs again
Beauty of life renewing in rebirth
My heart beats rhythmic music from within
The golden sun now pierces clouds of white
Emitting heavens pathway, glorious beam
Dark shadows fade and winter must take flight
We wake again as if from wearied dream
My heart bursts forth in song as bird on wing
Praise You Father God for wonderous Spring
