Breath of Dreams

Quietly streaming
through the breath of dreams
in clouds
the whispers came
in colors from scarlet to midnight
with secrets known in our deepest places
where sacred words
disappear in measureless time

Words that speak
in amaranthine languages
of persona and subliminal
origins and ancestry
inexhaustible and ever present

For the leaves were talking
in their green shimmer and shake
and sway
with
words grounded to trees
spreading in patterns
on currents of chaos
in zephyrs off rivers flow
blowing

Streaming through the breath of dreams
in clouds

"Breezing trees
heard the whisper of leaves"

This piece of the poem alone is amazing: "Words that speak in amaranthine languages of persona and subliminal origins and ancestry inexhaustible and ever present" The rest is wonderful also but this popped out at me. Now I have to run for a dictionary to find out what amaranthine means.

I love using that word "amaranthine". Thank you Caren, you are so kind.
