Breaking Up the Sky
The skies seem so quiet and mellow
nothing unexpected due to happen
although the clouds look heavy
their breaking up nobody knows when
It comes forth with such energy
breaking up with no warning
thundering down full of force
it's effects is truly storming
Watching this effect is bewildering
as water thunders forth from the sky
it's sound crackles in your head
crashing down from on high
The rainfall pours from a cloud
runs down at speed hitting ground
causing on earth water to flood
to devastating effect all around
The thunderstorm is truly amazing
slowing God's power so full
you can do nothing but wonder
at His awesome effectual jewel
