The blue eyes of hers wavering between choices, Whether to stay or leave, accept or create All thoughts lingering her mind about the over and done Recollecting the abuses and rejections of the past She got up sleeves folded, head held high, Ran with daring determination, Tracing the light of stars in the darkest night With the hope of daylight.
