Breaking My Heart In Pieces

BREAKING MY HEART IN PIECES

                        Surreal, unconceivable, unbelievable!!!
                                Twenty family members so
                                sick with Covid, two critical.
                              Draining, mentally exhausting,
                               breaking my heart in pieces.

Linda Marilene Evans February 11, 2021 at 12:33 PM Thank you so much Linda... the next day I penned this poem, my niece died and then the next day, my brother died. They were the two in critical condition. Then my mother died with different cause four days later. My heart was torn.

M. L. Kiser January 19, 2021 at 1:55 AM Yeah, we've all lost so many the past year; anyone who gets through it is reason to celebrate, only we can't celebrate together. Makes it difficult. Marilene Evans January 19, 2021 at 8:02 PM This is such a difficult time for our family. We just lost my brother two days ago and my !6 year old niece, three days ago, the two who were critical. We could not even see them. 18 recovered; but we got together to celebrate and pray for the two we lost. Thank you.
