Breakfast With God
At sunrise, God cracks open
a sunny yolk or two,
and breakfast with God begins
for folks like me and you.
And at His breakfast table,
all nature takes a seat.
With generous portions He provides
a meal for His guests to eat.
All Earth drinks a special brew
from dripping drops of morning dew.
While flowers with their bended stems,
sip cups of tea from His private blend.
Fresh squeezed juice, I drink from a glass,
as God drips nectar on the grass.
Breakfast with God feeds my Soul,
and puts a taste of Heaven in my bowl.
