In my youger days I'd head to the deep South to visit my mother. We'd stop to have breakfast is a small dinky restaurant for buttermilk biscuits and sausages, though I didn't like grits or the sausage gravy over the biscuits – triple bypass food to my thinking. And very reasonably priced in thosr days – $1.99. / Maurice

it's not a breakfast i would choose, milton, but i can picture your grandma setting it all out on the table. nice one!

Nor me now with my heart issues, Ilene, but I remember it well from my childhood. And, boy, was it ever delicious!
