Break Up
Her love lines flew, just like a jet, into the distance,
Straight from the back of my mind,
And they took every colour I’d ever thought of,
Leaving me here resigned,
To thoughts of black, thoughts of white,
Thoughts of … Day by day,
Thoughts of … It doesn’t really matter anymore,
Doesn’t matter what I do or say,
Because now she’s gone, her love just went,
She left me standing alone,
It doesn’t matter what I thought our love had become,
Doesn’t matter what I thought I’d grown.
Her lines of every shade of blue, they flew,
Leaving me in a dark crazed insane,
Leaving me here to create a new shade of me,
To learn how to love once again.
