Braving the Storm

Wild rain stripping your thoughts

and pain away. battling the wind

finding it hard to catch your next

breath, wondering will it be your

last.

An unfamiliar landscape fear has a

grip of your hand, straying you off

the path.

Braving the storm in a state of disarray,

you can't think of the words to be saved!,

You say a prayer for the fear to be held at

bay. Fear not for the lord knows what you

are truly meaning to say.

Let the lord use the storm waters to wash you

clean, washing your sins away. This my friend

is a clean slate a brand new day.
