Bravest Heart Stands Upon a Mountain High

Bravest Heart Stands Upon A Mountain High

When courage dares in proving it exists
Bravest heart stands upon a mountain high
Troubles reigning and evil turns to twist
When honor sets itself ready to fly.

Deeds little sung but princely overall
Ransom demanded so bravely in blood paid
Honor, loss paid by those hearing the call
Courage the test, death the ransom in trade.

Life singing holding truth of honest light
Where danger and pain are the highest cost
What bravery if not in great hard fight
Or great battle praised, if nothing is lost?

The brave living with hearts and golden souls.
Sacrifices give admirable roles!

Lots of everyday heroes out there, Robert, and this is fitting tribute. A #7 from me. Regards, and best to you and yours, Viv

You are correct my friend. Millions of everyday heroes never known or heralded. They face and overcome obstacles everyday that are daunting and serious.

Awesome! The bravest ones are usually the quietest ones.

Thanks my friend. So true, the brave often are so silent in their courage.
