Brave New World

I, the Confident Me...
I, the Strongest Me...
Came to a place very far,
Amongst the industries was my Sunrise
And breathing the chemicals was my Sunset.
New Friends, New Office, New Colleagues.
I, the Ambitious Me...
No time was wasted to get in touch with people
No competition that I was not part of
No functions ever then happened without me.
I, the Famous Me...
Up, Up I went with the wings on the back,
But never had that success ever affected me from within.
I was still fresh, happy and down to earth.
I, the Grounded Me...
Exceptions came my way from people,
To get transferred to a department from the start.
Went all way, to all people, number of times.
Also reached to a point when it seemed most easy,
But as said, expectations hurts, I cried more than my life.
I, the Emotional Me...
When Expectations from people goes thin,
I looked beyond, I looked within,
Targeted the Highest Goal,
Cared least about the wrong place I was in.
Nothing then mattered,
No people, No Job,
All alone mattered was ME.
My Development, my Goal,
My Family, My Brand New World.
I, the Modern Me.

Thanks for sharing this... exposing your thoughts through your unique poetic style. Meanwhile, I greet you with the love of the Lord, expressed by John 3:16 of the Bible, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life." Be blessed.
