Brahms; How Lovely Is Thy Dwelling Place
The melody floats
punctuated pauses
unlock the doors
Floodgates pouring forth
musical waterfalls
to shrines of wonder
Uniting elements
in splendid perfection
Gentle whispers
Of celestial tones
Carry softness,
then
Burst into
tumultuous
rhapsody;
swelling, rising,
surrounded by harps of
heaven;
Proclaiming
ownership
Of all who hear.
Take it, it is done, it's won
