Boxing Day 2004
Poetic Form: Rhyme

Half the world sleeps, the rest are unease
when the Indonesian seafloor fell
as jolt ... Richter 9 plus few degrees
collapsed structures that chimes the death knell
the rolling tossed many to their knees
danger festering, biding a spell
tsunamis threat warns the expertise
too late to head inland as fear swell
latter killed most, death lists ... the eyes seize.
