Boundless

Four walls, four corners
of a window frame,
provide a sense of home,

a base from which to travel
into worlds unknown,
past dark matter and black holes

incarcerating light.

I peer into a starry night
where galaxies fill countless points,
and suns escape my sight.

It’s amazing to think how far we can see through such a small portal.
