Boundary Lines

The boundary lines draw out a pleasant place; The grass is always greener where you are. By day your word provides the sweetest taste; By night when I lie down, you're never far. With you at my right hand and in control, Secure, my heart is glad and I rejoice. For you will not abandon me to Sheol; Blessed is the sheep who knows his shepherd's voice. But when my eyes perceive a far off place, And cause my heart to wander, feet to roam, By steps and turns, you help me to retrace; By whisperings, you softly call me home. Lord, keep me in your tether, at your side, And joyful in your presence, I'll abide. (from Psalm 16)
