Bound by the Unseen
Straps, and wire,
cutting ropes…
that make you bleed.
Not that anyone can see,
but they are there.
We all have them.
Some are worse then others.
Some have lives,
that never…
feel peace.
The word safe,
never spoken.
Unknown.
Be aware of those around you.
Lost among the soulless,
that walk upright…
Ever eating on the weak,
easily led,
to the fires,
that burn forever,
in the black night.
Stop and remember,
How did you get where you are?
Who helped you,
when you needed it most?
If you are free,
or can see a path,
help others,
and call out.
Those still walking,
and not running,
may yet hear.
