Bound By Love

Bound by love

~

"I sense your essence in the breeze

     my alleviation found in perfection-

I knew the pain of loss and despair you carried with ease;

        sweetheart, you are my perpetual connection,

saturated in loneliness were you-

   the wind blows, and gusts prevail,

black ravens plague this existence,

as the tempest rages in warm rains,

   they know how our love does outshine with flickering light-

   weeping in the forsaken land of my desolated heart’s remains;

intense obscurity of the calamity I faced before you attains-

   yet you stay with me, longing for my hopelessness to cease,

your genuine adoration still sustains

  never cursed or full of deep blight;

and…

    a million fairytales tremble at us,

sounds of swift ivory doves cry out,

emerging from the dust I was found

descending onto my grateful knees-

     for I am but a man craving to be near you for all of eternity-

   fleeting into the ebon night; for our love loses not insight,

I embrace you…you hold me tight

and I shall feel this pure affection or you, my beloved…eternally,

bound by love and affection”

Ha I was reading and I said this sounds like a Lu loo poem what's going on here!! and then the end for Lu loos contest, aha it all makes sense, I wouldn't even attempt to rearrange her lines but you did an admirable job!

Thank you Eve. The contest was to take a poem written by Lu loo and rearrange the lines to make something new. So, not really mine this time. I do appreciate your visit and kindness always.

Thank you Brenda. I'd love to take credit for this but it's not really mine, it's Lu loo's poem moved around a bit.

Thank you Heidi but check this contest, this is Lu loo's poem rearranged. Her original was amazing, it was hard to move these lines around and come up with something that worked. I am really excited you enjoyed this.
