Bought myself a Guitar

l bought a classical guitar
a dream l'v always had
l dream't l could go far
but is it just a fad ?

So took my lesson first
while sitting on the bed
they said that is the worse
bad habits in the head.

Not easy as l thought
l dream't ld learn in week
my fingers are too short
and my pinkies far too weak.

l dream't id wow my friends
but its going painfully slow
and torture all it sends
l guess l didnt know.

l dream't it would be easy
but little did l know
and all my songs are cheesy
and music doesnt flow.

It seemed ok at first
Lesson over l happily boast
but dreams are far the worse
for electric one's in the post!

Hi Jacquline firstly thank you for your comment on my Simple Man poem, it is really appreciated. I loved your poem about learning the guitar, I also try hard to play I can just really strum a few songs but like poetey I believe that if it sounds good to me then that is all that matters, so what ever you do keep trying.

I guess you chose quite a difficult instrument. You must not give up.
