Bottle of Tears

I sit here listening to you laugh
at me behind my back,
I see it illuminated in your eyes.
I feel sick,
I get up and walk towards the door,
you notice and run towards me.
You grab my arm trying your best to
stop me from leaving.
I hit you,
you look at me,
my face is drowning in tears.
Your face begins to change,
it is suddenly stained with pain
and regret,
gently you release my arm,
still I stand here looking at you.
Your lips move, whispering for
forgiveness but my heart has gone
cold.
My tears have been trapped
within a glass bottle floating in
the deep waters of my broken
heart.

Your title caught my eye, Leighann and you tell it like it is...your last four lines are also very beautiful-- sad but beautiful-- nikko :)
