Boston Marathon 2013

Rock us
To the core
Images splattered
Across every screen
New news, wrong news, bad news
In the brouhaha all semblance
Of order is lost
A marathon turned to a scramble
Some run for their lives
Some race to the fallen
The horror drags on
Police killed
School than neighborhood
Shutdown
Locked down
Ghost town
Of a vibrant city
Stats come in
3 killed in double blasts
260 injured
1 policeman shot
Yet the suspects (2)
Are dead or caught
Does this mean
We can
Breathe?
