Borrowed Verse That I'Ve Made Worse

I’ve sung a song at Six Pence I’ve drank a little rye I write a lot of nonsense But it all makes sense to I I’ve sat myself in a corner Eating a blueberry pie I’ve stuck out my thumb, for a ride to bum What a good boy am I My mother had a cupboard But she wasn’t named after a squash In it she kept some soap and a board For behavior to change and mouths to wash I like Peter am a pumpkin eater I have a wife and you should meet her Since I like the truth to tell She’s really kept me very well
