Born

Breathing on a shore, nearly drowned I rise to see my soul I’ve found. There is nothing more divine, profound, than love lost, trapping you to the ground. How I miss the skies, an infinite expanse, hiding behind those eyes, for if I was ever to be trapped again, trap me where my soul cries. trap me where my mind flies, where the wise breathe to grow, where it’s me, where silence all I know, trap me please, I say Because it’s lonely where I stay, Down below, it’s cold among the crowd, Living, without my peace around. Or let me fade in darkness Vast, where my mind can never wonder where there is never thirst where there is never hunger for my mind it seems like thunder, Everlasting, reminding me I’m free so here I stand to plead, You, the sky please let me see. although I’m always torn, or trapped within a storm, I’ll always love the warmth, of the sky and all beyond.
