Boomerang

We are all boomerangs we return to our time and place.
We always see the same old tired face.
As we look in the mirror as the fire burns.
In the old weathered fireplace.
to come back is to never end
When will our lives transcend to a new beginning.
Not to another end.
Its the place we want to be because we are boomerangs
We throw we sow and yet we never go
To live to die this life is fragile.
As we learn we never lose the inner child.
But the time we ascend this life we learn will never end.
We try and try and when we live.
The boomerang comes back but never returns.
Still our hopes our fears will guide us into the years.
everything we say everything we do calms our fears.
Will my face forever show always tears.
And if one day the sun will shine.
I know it will return to me
My lost forever returning Boomerang.
Your love I lost your passion I gained.
You made me whole you found the inner child
You are my boomerang you come back to me.
Sometimes if for only a short while.
All our lives we make friends.
Its their love that we find will never end
They are the ones we trust.
Forever to be our boomerang
You gave me peace and at times joy
You saw me as a man and sometimes a boy.
But today you throw me away
never to return to your hand
I will never be again your boomerang.

Hi Keith. Deep philosophical thoughts and some universal truths. You have a unique way of writing. There's youthful verve there, in that this reads like a rap, yet you have an uncanny grasp of life. Keep at your excellent writing and thanks for the visit to an old write. Kim :-)
