BOLTON - 1

Big yellow buses, on days when it rains,
Olympus for chips, then waiting for trains,
Long summer evenings, with walks in the park,
Town Hall, tall chimneys, a Jack Russell’s bark,
Open front doors, red brick, cobblestone,
Nice to be back, always glad to be home.

This was absolutely charming! I especially liked the busy energy and how you can just hear the dog and see the cobblestone! Great job!

You captured the warmth of home after a long day away. I sympathize with these homebody ideals. This is a lovely poem.
