Body Odor Blockhead

When she told him he had b.o.
He put on the ‘insulted show’
“You say I smell?
Well I can’t tell
You must have a defective nose!”

No, everywhere he goes he reeks
Oblivious to his toxic leak
She dreads his visits
His stench inhibits
Her smelling her roses all week!

This is a super Limerick Susan. I wish you the very best in the contest. I think I have only tried writing limerick 2-3 times. It is so different writing something funny and having to rhyme it. Maybe it is just me. Could be. Love, Carol

Susan, sorry I forgot to see this last night. Hubbie came home right as I was getting to my last comments of the evening! This is PERFECTLY understandable, Susan. Don't fret about that. AND your meter is improving for limericks too. That first one I believe was perfectly metered. Gotta get to school early now. AGAIN, jury duty was called off! Luv, Andrea

Reminds me of some nameless player I dealt craps to in Atlantic City years ago. He never bathed due to religious beliefs.

Ah Susan, this is a hilarious write! In all seriousness, you probably really do know someone that has b.o.! Maybe? It's horrible when you are around someone that really has it bad! As you wrote, get some roses to help get rid of the smell after he leaves! Great Work!!
