Body Ails Yet Spirit Soars

Body ails, yet spirit soars to see
Mother Nature’s beauty that surrounds
us all. I feel thankful just to be
in a place where nature’s spell abounds.

Yes, a magic spell I am under -
as I view many mountains everywhere.
At trees ablaze I gaze in wonder
in the freshness of the autumn air.

Though in pain, I must show gratitude
for friends, family and the outdoors.
Positive will be my attitude.
Yes, body ails, yet spirit soars.

Magnificent as all of your work is. I miss you a ton. Our little group of poets on here back in the day was so inspirational. I’m sorry you’re going through some medical issue that brings you pain. I hope my fave for this poem travels to the source of your physical pain & heals you. I’ve put up a poem if you have time to give it a read.

sorry you got migraine today . My pain is so weird, I feel like I am the only one on the planet that has it. So nobody can relate to me. Even the doctors have nothing for me. All we can do is grin and bear it. BTW, I think you made a typo. You called me dead Andrea, but I think I know what last letter you meant. haha.
