BOBBY'S HOBBY

I have a grandson named Bobby
Who started an expensive hobby
I shopped all the time
And spent my last dime
Now I feel like I own Hobby Lobby

Thank you, Carolyn! I'm honored that it placed as it did. I forgot to do a syllable count, so the lower placement is on me. I appreciate your honesty in letting me know. Sharing a 5th place win with Bob Hinshaw is another great honor. He is a great poet and a long time friend. We both served in the same career field durng our Air Force careers.

Well, John, I get the idea you liked my limerick. lol I often wonder where my thoughts come from. The names Stephen, Liam, Quinn, and Aiden don't rhyme with anything, and I don't really have a grandson named Bobby, but this is what popped up. Is it wrong for someone to laugh at their own poem? After writing it, I read it and laughed like crazy.
