Blushes of Dusk

Blushes of Dusk





It's been twilight of dusk
as humanity cries,
Bloodshed of wars
cruelty and famines,
Emotions all bled
kindness scraped,
Love exhaled
and logic slaughtered,
Stripped of souls
lay the corpses,
Heartless and skinless
mere skeletons dance,
Passion and warmth
entombed in history,
Eyeballs rotate
no mind ponders,

Anticipating ..... 
palpitations thump, 
Heart protrudes out
of the breast bone,
Dusky blush lends
rosy red to sunrise !
