Blues Sonnet Poetry
TAINTED
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
All manner of things on Earth are tainted!
Water, atmosphere, habitats tainted!
A tough image you'll find I have painted!
Please don't judge a book by its cover,
surprising what's written under cover!
Gratuitous evil you might discover!
Our atmosphere truly polluted!
Fossilized fuels are so polluted!
Carbon dioxide it's undisputed!
Water, soiled, unhealthy for all to drink!
Children dying, no clean water to drink!
Their governments don't care, lives on the brink!
Nature is struggling and we are to blame!
Is our chance gone? We cannot complain!
