Kristy Gaunt House | Illustrator - Advice from a Blueberry

blueberry picking

berry picking in the field behind home
beyond the dark leaves were the blueberries
like tiny blue lamps lit by the sun
we laugh in the hush
and put the berries in our mouths
the juice staining our lips
and fingers blue . . .
