Blue Thoughts of You
Here I’m sat gazing into space
Picturing that magnetic face
It’s been so long since your goodbye
Never knowing the reason why.
Suddenly the bubble had burst
Ravaged dreams unseen and unheard
Expired entrancing romancing
Ending magic moonlight dancing.
Lovebirds forever, I believed
Till finding your love had deceased
My heart’s broken beyond repair
I wonder if you even care.
Do you envision me in dreams
As I do you in sleepy scenes
Or look back on our love story
A sweet souvenir of glory.
It’s arduous to face each day
The darkness never fades away
If only we could turn back time
That once again our souls entwine.
There'll never be another who
I could gift my devotion to
You're the guardian of my heart
Even though we are kept apart.
Despite pondering where you are
To me you are a super star
Glistening brightly, fervently
My other half eternally.
