Blue Roses

Write a Pantoum – 8-25-23 "With God all things are possible." Matt 19:23 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Blue Roses Pure love leans down to kiss a newborn garden child, From crucibles of eternal creativity, Vision kissed with petals of grace for love’s Godchild Rhapsodies of roses chant joy for blue nativity. From crucibles of eternal creativity Rare mystical moment translated into blue Mythic rose wears reality’s festivity Treasure, of the heart, shines in true pacific hues. Rare mystical moment translated into blue Love turns a snow white rose blue with gentle thunder Magic moment when the impossible comes true Only hands Heaven inspired could birth this wonder. Love turns a snow white rose blue with gentle thunder Mystery unfolds in petals of azure blooms Quest for the absurd blessed – not split asunder Sweet incense rises in revelation’s perfume. Mystery unfolds in petals of azure blooms, Spirit seeds jubilees of inspirations wild Dream in prayer blessed – nurtured in God’s gracious womb - Pure love leans down to kiss a newborn garden child.

Thank you so much Paige. I found, on the internet, blue rose seeds for sale. I love roses, have many rose bushes, and thought a blue rose would be a wonderful addition to the garden - a miracle really. Fun to be able to put that into a poem. So glad you enjoyed it! Blessings and miracles to you!

How beautiful is this pantoum. So descriptive and creative wordplay throughout. I especially loved the lines “ rhapsodies of roses” “ heart shines in true pacific hues” “ love turns a snow white rose blue” ah this is soulwarming and full of faith and hope, and how you’ve delivered that is so creative! Your rhymes are brilliant! So unique and well woven. If this is for the competition, i wish u all the best

Hi Inky! I am deeply honored by your wonderful feedback! Thank you so much! There is a Japanese legend about love turning a white rose blue. I was captivated by that enchanting story. It became the foundation for this poem about miracles, and as you say, hope, faith and the power of believing in the miraculous when confronted by the impossible. I am so happy that came through to you! Take care! Blessings of miracles to you!
