Blue Lagoon

Shimmering

                                              crystal clear cyan sea

                                  bordered by the rugged coastline rocks


                            where inquisitive lapping waves intrude within

                        old smugglers’ caves and pirates’ secret hideaways.


                                 Gentle waters tease the sprawling sand.

                                         Dreams haunt the enchanted

                                                    Blue Lagoon.

Thanks for the lovely comments. Rain water mostly runs off to the sea; some of it is caught in wells and reservoirs and underground catchments. More has to be done to make good use of rain water. There is no marsh land. We depend a lot on reverse osmosis plants which are costly to run but efficient. txs for the interest:) // paul
