Blue Haze

Deep in heat, a slice of shade
Runs from stern sun; damp bare glade
Cools too few, too thin the dew
One more lost door, blue haze fade...

Such beautiful intrigue, Michelle.. steamy, luscious imagery and one more lost door.. ah, the magical mystery of it! A gorgeous piece so full of fantastic poetry in four lines that it feels so much bigger! Warmest wishes always, my friend.. ~Susan

Michelle, I haven't tried this form. How hard it seems to be limited only to one-syllable words! You did it well, though. Nice to have a little heat from the sun in the middle of cold winter!

Thank you, John - I recently had the thought 'slice of shade' when I saw one thin tree branch with a tiny bit of shade, so the poem grew from there
