Blue Crested-Collared Man An Original Song

Blue crested collar man (an origional song) i'm out on the fringe with a stringless guitar the silence of my strumming can be heard both near and far hard times are a coming in a fossil loving car big men stand up with their heads in the sky angels dressed in white raise the taxes oh so high for the blue crested collar man who can't even afford to die (chorus) cause everybody knows or at least they should by now that not a thing can follow you when all the lights go out so you can boil that bitter brew and feed it to the poor but tell me what your gonna do when they wont eat no more (end chorus) i'm breakin my back just to hold you up you can tell i'm thirsty but all i get is your empty cup you make me go and fill it cause you can't get enough i'm out on the fringe straining my ear for the voices of the ones who lock themselves inside from fear it's the great thief of time and it steals another year (chorus) (end)
