Notes About The Poem

Blue

all the hues of blue
every single shade
none come to my aid
not a one can define
that color sublime

when your eyes linger on me
I bathe in ecstasy
Azure pools, molten fire
eyes a shade of desire
words will never do
not a single tint of blue
captures the beauty
that is you

the color of your eyes
darker streaks
through the light
like moods that you feel
how they flow and recede
baby blue
flecks of teal
just one look and I reel
your soul shines on through
all the hues of your blue

All my indigo dreams
by the cool cobalt streams
are a reflection so true
of your eyes of clear blue

the kaleidoscope fades
only this one remains
this color of blue
in my world
of 
just
you....
