Blue

"Blue"
I remember the colour blue before the ocean turned grey and I swam into you I chose to I chose you My ocean is warm and inviting I am the treasure waiting on your shores I am the smallest shell unseen I am your sure I Am whispering messages to you Your Light seen through pink of satin skin you are translucent mon amure mon amour my mother of pearl I Am your grain of sand waiting to meet you The message etched inside you I float confident in your Ocean moving closer towards you your golden light waits for me in your sky of shining Blue (LadyLabyrinth / 2021)

merci x. I know you have a love affair with the ocean. I have two younger sisters, I like this painting with it's 3 ships. Schmidt alerted me to Van Gogh's time spent near the Ocean, kind of inspired me. I will always live close to the Ocean. It symbolizes Life, to me. The times I have lived far from it, some of the hardest years of my life. Van Gogh, a very special person, beautiful and sad.

My Mother kept a garden A garden of the heart; She planted all the good things, That gave my life its start. She turned me to the sunshine, And encouraged me to dream: Fostering and nurturing The seeds of self-esteem. And when the winds and rains came, She protected me enough; But not too much, she knew I’d need To stand up strong and tough.

Her constant good example, Always taught me right from wrong; Markers for my pathway To last my whole life long. I am my Mother’s garden, I am her legacy. And I hope today she feels the love, Reflected back from me.

When light shines from horizons never seen it is here where we must wait with the wind for warmth to appear.
