Blooddroplets

Knife sinks deep,
I no longer want to sleep,
Little lacerations,
My heart weeps,
Blood droplets like tears,

 absorb into my skin,
Love begins only to soon end.

 heart ripped out,
You crumble,

As it smash's into the ground like glass.
My dark eyed monster,
The holder, the keeper,
Of my weeping heart.

Wow—this piece floored me.. amazing work, Davina. The imagery is so vivid, the bleeding, weeping heart. I hope you are doing well my friend. Always, Laura
