Bloodcurdling

Royally draped over a soft cushion
hugging a soft, fluffy white carpet
her gaze wanders
to the flickering images
on the TV screen
before her...
abruptly transfixed
rocking on her haunches now
her eyes darting back and forth
as if at a ping-pong match...
she tenses now
back arched
hints at moving
A bloodcurdling SCREAM is heard
she leaps; flies away

My cat will sit on my lap and watch T.V. I often wonder what he thinks he sees. Have a great day my friend.

You mean that your cat doesn't go as berserk as the one in my poem did?! LOL. I guess my cat was a paid actor or something. Thanks, David

Ha!!! I could picture this clearly. You have got to be talking about a cat. This was really cool my friend.

I was kind of wondering how you figured this out. LOL. Maybe I shouldn't have put 'cat' in the categories selections. Would have been more fun that way. Oh, well... I really appreciate how you got into this one. I based it on an internet video my wife showed me, a fascinating study of a cat watching a horror movie. Thanks so much, Gershon
