Blockage of the Suez Canal

More than fifty ships go through the Suez Canal on any day. However, a very large freighter has blocked the passageway. The ship called the "Ever Given" comes from a company in Taiwan. Unsuccessful efforts to move the vessel have been going on. Tugboats and personnel are trying to get the big ship free. Meanwhile, hundreds of other craft have been stalled on the sea. This incident is having a negative impact on the world economy. From a story found in the Los Angeles Times.

I just saw this story on the news, kudos to you for bringing more awareness to it here, and also the rhymes flowed easily with a pleasing cadence, (maybe the news should be reported in rhyme?)

Hopefully they will get this unblocked. You ever feel like “what else?” “What now?”

This is almost unbelievable, Robert. First time in how many years? I wonder if there is some purposefulness at play here? Surely not! Probably will have to put some limits on the sizes of ships using the canal in the future. This will probably shut down the canal for a while.

What a mess, maybe they’ll make ships a little shorter. Interesting reading. John

Saw that in the news, that's one big boat Robert, if all fails they'll have to use dynamite. Tom
