Blissful Noons

O’er blissful noons I lie in sighs
Awaiting a finish’d bliss
Not only for my own gain
But for the quiet, suffused light of friendship
Longing to warm your sufferings with kisses
Of sunshines billowing thru meadow’d peace
Entering thus—happiness
That all belovers seek
