Blindsight

Speeding through life never enough time Searching for happiness destination cloud nine Nice house, new car nice clothes, new jewelry Season tickets, club seats all bought with stained money   The fast life carries a price a fool and money shall part Taking with it all the things used to fill this empty heart Now groping at shadows looking for some light Darkness surrounds me as days become eternal nights   But seek and there you'll find enlightenment to brighten your way Being mindful of the present while letting go of yesterday Free from blinding desires beauty is easy to see The things I once sought were always around me.
