"Blind Spot"



Eyes front 
on the Road

Foot to the floor

What you don’t see 
coming -

The Blind Spot.

Eyes open 
foot to the floor. 

The ‘TIME’ 
is coming, 

The Blind Spot -
Something unseen,
unheard...

felt somewhere
in the heart
....mmm

foot to the floor.

Moving,
Moving,
Always Moving

foot to the floor.

Forward.

Blind spot
past - 
acknowledged.

Serendipity -
kissed ...
and a Stranger's smile -

Left...
Far
Behind. 

Blind Spot
Whispering closer
ever closer,

Whistling 
outrageously
'crassly'

"Come Here,
Come closer,"

In the mind;

Invisible 
in the ear.

Rob Levasseur December 21, 2020 at 8:38 AM A cold bed is regret from love too soon given. Or I could have it all wrong. Either way, I love the subtly and repetition in this poem. Lady Labyrinth December 21, 2020 at 12:40 PM "Death" may be the blind spot. Time is short; Life must be lived to the full, when the facts are seen cold and hard.
