First talks on the telephone
So you will not be alone
Nervous and afraid at first
Your heart is about to burst
Not knowing how this will end
Are you gonna find a friend
Who will turn to something more
Someone who you will adore
Or you wont like what they will say
You get up and walk away
The unexpected can be scary
Leaving you tired and weary
Of what this dates gonna bring
You want more than just a fling
Someone to hold and love each night
Who brightens each day with a light
That shows from their loving eyes
You hope it wont take lots of tries
To find this special someone who
You can fall deeply into
