Blind

This hurts more because I’m not willing to let you go
I just want to be blind, death, and pretend I don’t know
No matter how much the truth hurts me inside
I rather swallow my pride just to have you by my side
This crazy unimaginable feeling is what makes me content
But when I’m not with you I’m full of resentment
Would you prefer me to put up a face
And lie to those eyes full of disgrace?
Let me know because I don’t know what to do
For my heart and mind are surrendering to you…
